“You Learn to speak by speaking, to study by studying, to run by running, to work by working, and just so, you learn to love by loving. All those who think to learn in any other way deceive themselves” – St Francis De Sales.
We are born with a large learning potential that is ready to be used the minute we come to this world. From learning, how to feed, sleep, talk, walk and so on. Then we start learning new skills by reaching new milestones. Every time we learn something new, we, by nature, try to seek more. Learning becomes an intrinsic motivator in our life, starting in childhood and doesn’t end until we stop living.
But a learner can’t get anywhere without a great teacher; this could be parents, school teachers, family members, coaches, priests, mentors; however the ultimate teacher remains our Christ who is the greatest teacher .
Let’s challenge ourselves by learning how to grow in faith while following our Master’s guidance, and act upon it. After all, shouldn’t we learn how to be faithful by trusting our God’s plan and having faith in what He has in store for us?
